Told some fictitious lies about having a no fault accident (which I haven't). Very aggressive person called William who, when I firmly asked to be removed from their database started shouting at me. Extremely nasty experience which left me physically shaking.

Called today and ulikely to originate from the UK based on the poor line. The person kept using my first name (i.e., Mr A***).
She told me she was calling about an accident I'd had for which I wasn't at fault. I asked her if that was in the BMW and she said "Yes I think so"...I don't drive a BMW and have never owned one!
I would have carried on playing for a bit longer but got bored anf hung up.
For the record, I did have an accident about two years ago for which I wasn't at fault and sorted everything through my insurance company - hate ambulance chasers (assuming it wasn't a chance call).
Reject the call. -

Lisa identified herself and said that they had been contacted by my insurance company about an accident I'd had. I said I hadn't had an accident and this was a scam phonecall. Lisa asked why I thought it was a scam. She was not trying to sell me anything, and was persistent. I hung up. The call disturbed me,one of my worst nuisance calls!

Some eeejut with a South African accent called about "uninsured losses" I "may" have suffered in a non fault accident I had last year. I said I had none but he was insistent I may have suffered inconvenience, which I said I didn't so he said "it's because of people like you we'll be sending the authorities round" and hung up!!!! Claimed there £2,500 waiting for me due to a motoring incident in last 2.5 years. I asked for details of the incident (there hasn't been one. Information had been received from insurance company but no details of incident were received. Told him there had been no incident and could I have name of insurance company so I could discuss their disclosure with them. He hung up. Not un-pleasant but confused when script didn't work and absolutely clueless.

Calling about compensation that could be available for a minor motoring incident I've been involved with recently. They used my maiden name which was a red flag to start with, and I've not been in any incident. Lady tried to persist with the call after I politely tried to end it so hung up instead. Looking back at call history there's been 6 missed calls from this number in last week with no messages left. Number now added to blocked list.

Claimed that my insurer had given details of an incident in the last 2.5 years when I renewed motor insurance. When challenged for the name of my insurer, they said it was a breech of THEIR confidence to tell me! I told them they had invaded my privacy by calling me. I intend to ask my insurance company if they share information but doubt it as the information was incorrect.
