I am fairly sure they are trying to get me to settle a bill, I currently have nothing to offer, so am not taking the calls. EON in my view are an evil entity. When I asked to be disconnected when my finances first collapsed (rather than keep picking up extra charges for havng no money(!) and to keep the arrears at a maneageable level) they refused to do it, trapping me into ever increasing levels of debt.
I intend to clear that debt by selling off grid electricity system components and designs in the new year, now I have learned how to do it for myself. It all starts with getting a remote energy meter and reducing your consumption. MY house runs comfortably off 2-400 watts now. Off grid supply has it's limitations, but it's doable nowadays and it sure beats being bullied by an energy company..Holly replied 2/1/16, 1:48 PMHi Steve I'm just wondering how you managed to do it yourself they are trying to rip me off also and I want out of it with them

Caller said they were our energy suppliers and wanted the meter number of the invoice, as their information was incorrect. When I said to email or write with the request as I do not give that information out, he put the phone down,when I called back it was an unobtainable number. Our supplier is not eon energy, by getting our electric number, I assume it would start the process of moving our electric without our knowledge. I feel this is a despicable thing for any company to do. Others Beware.
