Had a call today from a man claiming to be 'Windows' who said that my computer had automatically informed him of a fault. Sensing this was a scam, I persisted in asking for a name (none was given apart from 'windows', and an explanation of what the error code was that he was claiming to get from my computer. He refused to answer this, getting more and more agitated and aggressive. I asked for a telephone number to call him back, and he gave the number given above, but on dialling 1471 no number for the call is stored, so this might be a false number. Finally he scresmed four-letter abuse at me and finished the call. I suspect he as hoping to con money out of me for some non-existent virus software. This is an extrmeely amateur-ish con attempt, as the foul-mouthed little man cannot keep his temper long enough to be convincing.
