   tried to get me to sit at my computer regarding all the supposed viruses which they were monitoring being downloaded to my computer and let them access my computer-
   stated they were my service provider and when quizzed about if they were my ISP etc they stated they were WINDOWS provider for all WINDOWS SOFTWARE, when quizzed again that this is Microsoft they stated it was them, blah blah blah-
   When I kept asking who they were SHE HUNG UP!!

   microsoft gave me a run about today
   but it comes down to this
   microsoft say that they don't make phone calls.
   and it needs reporting to the police
   police want these calls reported to 0300 123 2040
   so happy phoning but closed friday 29/03/12

   I have had several calls from this number every day for about a week but no one spoke. Today a woman tried to tell me that I had a virus on my computer that got worse every time I turned it on. She said she was from Windows technical and would help with the fault if turned my computer on. I told her that my son is a computer technician and also that I knew that she wasn't legitimate (I had already checked the number and found this site). She obviously hung up!

   This comany called to tell me that I had downloaded a malicious file and it was slowing my computer down. Well, despite my undouting that this was scam call, my computer has actually been slow, so I thought I'd humor myself and listen to what they had to say... they asked me to press the windows key on my keyboard, when I told the that I had a mac, they hung up haha!

   I had a call from a man claiming to be from Windows technical department. He said that their records showed that there were faults with my system of which I was not aware and that if I sat down in front of my computer he would help me to correct them. I told him I had no problems and had good virus and spyware protection. I added that I did not believe him and ended the call.
