Actually is Orange. It's a regrade team assigned to get broadband customers to sign up for line rental too. Just people trying to make a living. They're calling hours are 11-8 it's on a dialler so if you're getting blank voice mail messages it's because they can't hang up quick enough. And in regards to TPS if you're a customer of orange or your number is associated with their accounts they can ring you and there is not a lot you can do about it. They're actually the people who answer your customer service queries regarding orange broadband too.

This is Clearanswer call centre Hull, orange have an external contract with them so realisticly they are working on behalf of orange. Its not a scam the promotions are genuine. Basically they do work for orange to help them out. I believe they also have a contract with Talk Talk. They ask if you have a mobile as you could change it at anytime. It counts as a 5 pound discount code but it has to be registered in your name and adress - so if it doesn't show by law they have to ask! Yes the persistant calls are annoying to you, but at the end of the day its someones job. Someone has to do it. Unlike most of the UK at least there pulling their weight.

Martin replied 7/19/12, 12:15 PMYes I have discovered that this is Clearanswer and that they work for a number of companies like Orange and Talk Talk using different numbers and I even had my details from Orange account passed to Talk Talk so I have put in a serious complaint to the ICO. I am sure this is from Orange regardless of what they say - they provide my broadband (have done for years) but last night I made the move to change over to Sky. More than coincidental that I then get a call next day and the person simply hangs up. Judging by the forum, I'll be getting a lot more.

Have definitely been told in writing from Orange that this is not a genuine Orange number and is at the moment being investigated by their security
astroeyes replied 7/6/12, 9:58 AMI was getting 3-4 calls per day. I emailed Orange and was told the calls are from a firm acting on their behalf to offer Orange customers new / better deals. I asked them to remove me from their call list and they said they would - we'll have to see but it does appear they are a genuine firm, though I don't like their sales approach one bit. -

Have just returned to the UK and found my answerphone clogged up from calls from this company. I have since answered one call (27:03:12) from a person called Andrew claiming he could reduce my Orange broadband fees. He was very evasive when I asked him questions regarding how he had got my telephone number as I was on the TPS list at which he put the phone down on me.

Who is this that keeps calling me? Two to three times a day now for the past few days, and always while I'm at work. They've started leaving blank messages now which makes me think it's telesales. Comes back as being based in Hull...would love to know who it is!

Sabrina,who says she's from orange tells me she can get me a cheaper tariff on broadband if they take over my bt line, but bt will still maintain line and then asked do I still have an orange mobile !!!!! surely if she was really with orange she"d know that.Kept her on the line for five mins and was noncommittal.She says she'll call back in two days,think I'll tell her I'm not the div she obviously is and how I do a worthwhile job,not one trying to scam people on the phone,might even ask if her parents are proud of what their daughter does for a living,then blow a loud police whistle down the phone,and hope that puts her off from pestering me again.
