They gave me this number as a direct number for them.
It's bull, they can call you from it but you cannot call them. -

I paid my Virgin bill 2 days ago online and today received a fake email telling me the payment did not go through and asking me to click on the link and make a payment.
I phoned Virgin media, who confirmed it was a fake email and that my payment HAD gone through.
That was an hour ago and I have now received a phone call from 0151 4774600 - there was silence on the other end for a few seconds after I answered my phone, then a man with an American accent came on the line asking me questions about my account and payments.
He did confirm that I had made a payment 2 days ago, but did not confirm the further payment I made over the phone this morning to Virgin (using 150 number), so he is CLEARLY A FAKE/HACKER.
I have my debit card details stored on Virgin Media site and now wondering if it is safe to do so, as it looks like someone has already got my name and account details ?!! -

Call at 8.03am from a gentleman with a thick Asian accent asking for account password. This number was virgin media around 4 years ago but we switched to BT when we moved to a new home. I can only imagine this is either a scam or an attempt at sales as they asked for bill payer not me or my husband by name

Asian caller constantly asking for person unconnected with my phone number or home address.
No matter what I say calls persist.
I know its definitely connected with Virgin Media as I was getting same calls last year .... complained by e mail to Virgin and they stopped immediately .. til now! -

called pertaining to be from virgin media. i cancelled virgin recently. caller asked for me by name & for my password, not likely i said, you dont call someone asking for their password. Told them i spoke to someone yesterday& they said ok & hung up. Think calls from this number will be ignored from now on.

This is from a call centre in the Phillipeans. They are from Virgin Media collections.They will not transfer calls to a UK operator.

They rang pertaining to be virgin media. Did not identify themselves by name asked for the account holders details and full password. Got very rude when I declined to divulge the information which a true virgin customer service rep NEVER ASKS FOR A FULL PASSWORD !
