Wanted to talk to me about my Dyson cleaner (which I haven't owned in about 12 years).
Told him I was on TPS. He gave me the old "oh, sorry, you must have slipped through our check" routine. When I questioned this, and told him I had been on TPS for over 15 years, he fed me the lie about having to "refresh" TPS to make sure it works.

This number called me twice this morning. When I called back, I got a pre-recorded message saying they would call me back another time. I had exactly the same from them last year and asked them to remove me from their database then, request obviously ignored.

Just received the fourth call from this number even though I asked to be taken off their list. They are a pain. They offer servicing for Dyson cleaners which will no doubt result in you needing costly and unnecessary other spare parts.

The company making these calls claims to be representing Dyson, have asked them to remove my number, have written to them and the Ofcom, still receiving calls

Same Dyson service scam. Rang and asked about our Dyson, complimented on still using it after all these years then started to offer a service. Having seen this scam on Watchdog I told him no several times before he slammed the phone down. Next time I will string them along a long as possible!

They rang, said nothing but slammed phone down when I answered, called back, a recorded message said "You have justreceived a call from Unitech Services. No need to worry about this, we will call you back." I guess they're checking for valid numbers to pester.

Phoned me and asked if we still used our Dyson vacuum. When I said we'd never had one he apologised, and when I asked if they were covered by the TPS regs he said they were and would take us off their lists. I will now report them to the TPS (as I trust all other registered people will).

Had phone call today from this firm saying my wife's Dyson Vacuum Cleaner was due for servicing. Told them I did not want it serviced. What servicing does a vacuum cleaner need? just regular emptying & filters cleaning. If it has a major fault then bin it and buy another. Dyson have a 5 year warranty anyway. I thought this vacuum cleaner servicing lark had died out, Hoover used to do it years ago, engineers were encouraged to replace parts that did not need replacing, for the resultant charges you could soon buy a new one.

These people are calling me several times a day. I previously told them not to call me again. It's just a nuisance having to go to answer the phone only to find its them ringing again! I leave it ringing, but it's intrusive.
