I answered, took a few seconds for them to reply, very loud background noise, said it was Ryan from bbc and asked how my day was going. Not a good day for me so I just put the phone down

Number rang from Lanarkshire didn't answer. Rang it back and they answered BBC so I hung up. Came straight on here to check it out and its obviously for ppi. Don't bother answering. Just block it.

Getting a whole spree of unsolicited calls on my business cell phone. Clearly this is another one wantonly interrupting my working day.

I am investigating an APP that automatically puts all known numbers to the blocked caller list.
