    Experiences as others'.
    I just spoke to BT - evidently this is an international company beyond the reach of TPS, using the 01603 290004 number as a dummy call ID to mask the fact it is an international call so that it doesn't appear as 'International' on lines with Caller ID. Is generally believed to be a scam aiming to get access to bank account details for the purposes of defrauding. Nothing BT or TPS can do - Government are the only ones with the power to stop these types of calls.

    Answered the phone and got a recorded message (male, English voice) "our records indicate that you were injured in an accident within the last three years, press 5 to speak to an operator". I pressed 5 and initially heard an office environment then was cut off. On ringing back, I heard the ringing tone but it almost instantly changed to an engaged tone. Don't know who this company is, but they need stopping.

    This was a recorded message seeking to gather clients for a company purporting to help people claim after an accident or other loss. I suspect it arises out of Aviva. They called me yesterday about my home insurance policy. They are all at it even Aviva.

    This appears to be a personal injury claims company touting for work. They don't always talk, some calls are silent or they just hang up.
