In a deep sleep at 2 am when received recorded message from this number. Very disturbing at this time in the morning to an elderly person living on their own.Somebody needs to put a stop to this.

Two ops given to claim refund and unsubscribe. I expect doing either of these starts a high premium rate on your bill. This number may not be Manchester based as I was told by trading standards that UK numbers can be bought and used from anywhere. BT should stop this practise.

Called me with recorded message about how I'd not claimed my refund (the usual PPI scam) asking me to press appropriate button to speak to them. I just let the line hang until they disconnected to maximise their costs/time loss.
Since they had just interrupted my enjoyment of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's superb rendition of The Battle Hymn of the Republic I was definitely not best pleased!
Having checked it was a UK (Manchester phone no) I phoned it to see what fun I could have and if I could get some names and company address. Only got a recorded message telling me it was just a marketing call and not to worry. Even offered me the chance to unsubscribe and told me I could join TPS to block unwanted calls.
Since I'm already in TPS I intend to report them.
I didn't take up their offer of unsubscribing as I see no reason why I should help them improve their dodgy database. Let them fall foul of TPS and face the fines!
