   When these people call, confuse them by replying as a company and trying to sell them something and keep up with push them to buy until they hang up.

   Caller rang quoting my phone number and asking if it was registered to an address.....it was my old address from almost 6 years ago, he then proceded to ask what the address was that my phone number belonged to. I hung up. It sounded very dodgy to me.

   Caller quoted my maiden name (I've been married over 5 years) and said he was 'just calling to check my landline number' - it sounded very dodgy so I didn't let him go any further. Couldn't catch the company he said he was calling from despite asking him to repeat it.

    Blank calls from this number since asking to be removed from titan telecoms call list last week.
    
    Two calls a day since. I answer, no one speaks on the line.

    Why do they pester us reported number ‎01618841271 as Openreach Titan

    Caller claims to be from Openreach Titan telling us we are going to benefit from cheaper rates. When I asked for marketing material to be sent to me instead they went into panic overload! I believe this company to be cold calling with a view to trying to get you switch provider and possibly reduce your call costs.

    Persistant and annoying calls offering cheap line rent and phone calls.
    
    Many times I have hung up on them and they call back later in the week..

    My earlier report should have said TITAN TELECOM (not Trojan Telecom). My apologies to all concerned (especially to Trojan).
    Titan is based in Manchester and 0161 is a Manchester code but I do not know whether the call was really from Titan.

    Claimed to be from Trojan Telecom and to be calling to reduce my company's telephone bill. Trojan does exist but I doubt if it knows anything about this call. I dialled 1471 and was given the above number followed by a "please hang up" message, suggesting the number may well be fictitious.
