Called this morning on 6 different UK landlines numbers. They are pretending to represent energy suppliers asking for details to set up a new tariff as yours supposedly hasn't.
I confirmed it as a scam with British Gas - they would only contact a customer about their tariff as an actual British Gas customer service agent and would usually write anyway. DO NOT give them your details - the likelihood is you are agreeing to a verbal contract to pay THEM instead of your current supplier.
