They are asking to be informed of anyone who calls stating to be them. They dont have cold calling system nor do they have the 01698313017 number.. I have no reason to disbelieve them. I called them on 30th April at 3pm and I notice that someone else called them not long after me and has commented here. Sure they will they've already "got back to me..." several times on several different numbers! -

I had a call from 01698 313017 at 9.30am to ask about my heating system. To say I was furious at being disturbed at that time on a Saturday would be an understatement. I asked to speak to a manager but he was 'unavailable".

I got a call this morning from this number. A female with a Scottish accent asked to speak to Mr XXXX (There are no male adults living at this address). When I asked who was calling she said she was phoning about the heating system and when I probed further she said she was from 'Energy Resource'. She obviously didn't like all my questions as she hung up after the next one!!

I have TrueCall Guardian on my phone so didn't even know they had called until I checked my call register. As they wouldn't leave an identity they were not able to access my answer machine. I have now blocked their number so they will never get through.

Kept calling my mobile so I politely asked to be removed from their list as the number of times they called (including late in the evening) was tantamount to harassment. Stopped for a while, but it's started up again & even though the number is blocked I can see how often they call.

Got a call from a pleasant girl saying she was from "Energy Rescue" at EuroCentral in Motherwell. I took control of the call with lots of chit chat, asking how her day was, how many calls has she made, what was the company phone number, what was their address, had she been working long today etc. etc. etc.
I now do this with all calls and it drives them nuts. I stay calm and happy and in fact I occasionally get comments that I'm wasting THEIR time!!
So whenever you receive a call be pleasant, ask lots of irrelevant questions about them and I'm sure they will remove your number as being a Time Waster.

This is the first unwanted call to have got through to us after we bought a BT call blocker phone 2 months ago.
fed up replied 4/30/15, 3:03 PMHi, I also bought BT call blocker, it worked for about 9 weeks, then the calls started again. I think it is because the calls come via the internet, not via a land line. It is an automated system that is almost impossible to stop. I have reported them also, mainly because the number they phone from is supposedly out of order, when you phone it back. Thanks to HHH I have been able to contact the actual company and sent a strongly worded, but polite, letter to their CEO. I regret buying the call blocker. All I do now is leave my cheap ansafone on all the time and choose to phone back people I know. Anyone who doesnt leave a message, well the call cant be urgent can it? Sick fed up of it though. -

This number keeps calling. I do not answer because I do not know the number. If they had a legitimate reason for calling they would leave a message or, if they know me, would ring my mobile. Therefore I assume they are nuisance callers even though I am listed with TPS (Totally Purposeless Setup)

I dont know about calling them and being a nuisance, knowing our luck we would get prosecuted. But I do think we can report to TPS.. am having a look right now. They have been good previously when callers sneak past their system. Good luck to all. -

They have been told to stop phoning my number. They call asking for somebody else, I've told them I'm with the TPS and asked on numerous occasions for my number to be removed, but they won't. They keep calling me back, I work from home and it is disgusting behaviour by an untrustworthy company.

Paul from Energy Resource UK called. Scottish accent, said they were based at the Eurocentral business park on the M8. Claimed to be offering me an opportunity to upgrade my gas boiler. I told him I had TPS and his call was illegal. He said they weren't covered by TPS as this was marketing not sales!
