I've been called by +441709918624 3 times in the past 2 days. At one point I answered and said hello. The northern guy on the phone didn't say what his name is, he just said I'm calling from Vodafone, can I speak to the account holder please so I hung up.

Got a call today allegedly from Vodafone asking my name and saying there have been some unnecessary charges on my Account. When I questioned yhis the Guy said hold on....I heard extremely loud noises in background, almost like a Party...then he hung up!!!!!

I contacted Vodafone and they told me it MIGHT be company connected with Vodafone. So that means Vodafone pass customer numbers to other companies. Is that legal? I will request they don't do that in future.

I commented before and I decided to ring back. This man answered claiming to be vodafone. I told them I kept getting missed calls and he asked me if I was the account holder, being a 13 year old I said no. He then said that it is just to check that I am a loyal customer and they told me to get my account holder to ring back. Gonna get mum to ring back and see what they want. Reading the comments on here, I don't trust this! I don't know what to do!

They keep calling me at the same time each day and I keep declining due to seeing the comments on here. I am young teenager and I feel concerned that this number keep bothering me. They left a voicemail, it souded like this guy was explaining how to do something to someone and they mentioned something about a £5 charge.

Rang them back after seeing the missed call and reading what people have said on here , was some dodgy sounding guy called Ian , he says " youve been chosen as an outstanding customer of ours" or some bullshit like that . I called the guy that he was full of it and told him to get a real job, sad tossers man !

Been getting missed calls for the last few days, different times of day. Tried calling back a couple of times but the line always goes dead, no answering machine. Judging by the warnings about 01709918629 calls, I reckon this is the same aggressive sales call.
