Tries to con you into giving electricity details and the end of contract date so that they can basically fill up their CRM system with leads for future calls. Said that they worked with my supplier but couldnt tell me who it was. They are obviously a telemarketing company who are looking to sell details to electricity suppliers for future sales. I politely declined and she thanked me for listening and hung up.

Fed up with ESO calls. They simply won't listen. NOT INTERESTED
all these companies have our details from a database somewhere but insist on gleaning even more. Please stop interrupting our business calls and take a hint. Anyone who doesn't give their current supplier the 30 days notice deserve to be charged 40% increase. As I told Jay at ESO I wouldn't be so foolish!!! -

Call claiming to be from "ESO" and "working on behalf of Ofgem". Didn't actually say they were the "Energy Services Ombudsman" but I presume it was their hope that I'd think they were official.
Wanted to let me know that "changes to Ofgem rules" meant that we could opt out of contract renewals outwith the usual 90 day period.
They were offering a "free service" that would ensure that we opted out of current and future contracts.
At that point I wished them well and hung up. No doubt if I'd continued I would have been asked for meter details. And once they've got those... -

Very aggressive called would not get to the point of why she was calling asked if she was trying to sell us something and she said she was from Off Gem ref new legislation I said was not interested and what did she want she then got very angry and demanded to know what are current rates were I cut her off

They ask for the person responsible for your Electricity and the government guidelines that come into place, I explained the person does not wish to speak to you. The lady got very abrupt saying "the person doesn't want to speak to me, that's alright, I shall contact your provider that you are not interested" I basically put the phone down.

Called our TPS registered number demanding to speak to the person who dealt with our electricity supply. Denied she was selling anything when I informed her of our TPS registration and that the company doesn't accept cold sales. She the said they'd been a change in the regulations and started to become aggressive, finally shouting "Oh, forget it then!" before ending the call. Thoroughly nasty piece of work.

Took a call from these - reference my electricity contract - the man on the end got very aggressive when I said I wasn't interested - he demanded to know how much my contract was etc. i've now blocked this number but now I get them via mobile numbers - don't answer they are a nasty piece of work
