   WILL ROB U OFF YOUR MONEY, WILL NOT SEND YOU ANYTHING, OF THEY DO IT WILL BE BROKEN OR NOTHING..

   I ordered this at the start of May and paid for it to be painted, shipping was going to be a couple of days as their painter did not have a lot on. Apparently he had more on than they thought as it was not shipped until 12th May. No really worries, until the Bump arrived at my door in two halves, as they had only wrapped it in bubble wrap.
   
   I few calls later and I was assured that they would rush me a new bumper out, well to cut a long story short, after nearly 30 calls and a lot of broken promises the new bumper arrived in the second week of July!!
   
   Again is was only packed in bubble wrap, but it had survived, on unwrapping I noticed the paint was peeling, so I called them, the call like many others went un-returned. The painter did not prime the bumper or put a finisher, just one coat of paint. Lots of un-returned phone calls and I now find they won’t help me get the bumper back to them. I tried Hermes would not accept it in bubble wrap and Parcel force who need me to drop it to them 32 miles away, but it won’t go in my car.
   
   The solution offered by car and van parts, is to refund me for the painting, nothing for the time and effort I have put into buying from this company!! Then to add insult to injury I need to wait for 30days for the refund?

   if you brought through Breakerlink then complain to them they will switch him off until you are refunded

   Same problems as the other comments on here. Ordered a bumper and it was to be sprayed white, arrived and the paint was flaking off, a five year old could have done a better job. Endless emails that dont get replied to, endless calls where they fob you off and say the manager Chris will call back never does. Spoke to Chris today, obviously of very little intelligence as all he could do was be abusive and threatening. Apparently I wont get a refund, he will fold the company and start up in another name to ensure I dont get my £280 refund. Trading standards and the small claims court will be interested in this. Always record your calls when dealing with companys like this, will come in useful. Vile man and avoid at all costs!!

   Make sure you notify that calls are recorded it is a breach of privacy and they cannot be used in any court

   Ordered a car bumper in November last year and it arrived smashed, so we sent it back (out of our own pocket) with the agreement that another one would be sent out when they received it only one never appeared and they kept fobbing us off it's excuses. So after months we'd had enough so asked for a refund. That funnily enough didn't turn up in my account either! So finally we decided to open a dispute with my bank since I paid over the phone with my debt card and I had it refunded to me in June- it was a long process but well worth it in the end. I'm just going to repeat what everyone else is saying- the boss is damn right rude for no reason at all, as what we asked was not unreasonable by any means. If I could I would warn every single individual not to use this company and to avoid at all costs

   They did the exact same to me. So I opened a dispute with the bank and the bank refunded me the cash! Try it, it's well worth a shot!

   Hi we got damaged goods sent to us, no refund as yet !!! They have a scam going with the delivery drivers. Sending broken bits out so they can claim . The stuff we did buy we got all good, however no reciept, no quotes as requested. Spoke to the boss Chris , what a complete ediot , jack is not much better, AVOID AVOID !!!!!!!.

   we also bought parts from car and van parts direct, still waiting for invoice, it is illegal to sell goods with vat added and no invoice, hmrc will be very interested, we still wait a refund also but trading standards are monitoring it

   we ordered parts from car and van parts direct, they charged us well over the cost of postage nearly double, then the parts arrived they were not correct. Spoke to the understudy Chris and he was very abusive and ignorant, we sent back the item as it was incorrect and when we asked for our refund, he refused, shall keep you up to date

So I am taking them to court now. If they keep messing you around, and they don't refund you, please do the same - go to your Citizen's Advice Bureau, speak to them and get help, and take these cowboys to court.

   I bought some car parts 4 weeks ago & too be fair 4 out 5 showed up correct the next day. Since then I have been chasing a refund for the part they couldn't supply & keep fobbing me off that it's my banks fault it hasn't come thru & it was refunded, I'll show you the receipt! THIS HAS NEVER BEEN SEEN & THEY NEVER RETURN CALLS & I STILL DONT HAVE MY REFUND!!!!
   Avoid this company at all costs!!!!

   we returned parts and 2 weeks on still waiting for a refund, the boss chris is just an idiot and very arrogant, they do not seem to know what they are talking about, STAY CLEAR Breakeryard are also involved in this as they send all enquires to car and van parts direct

    This is the worst company EVER. Order part for next day and not recieved one week yet. Pls DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. No respect for customer. Using silly words when referring to customer such as "buddy". Spoken to the bossy boss. He even lack manners. Please be warned. Buy your parts elsewhere.

    I bought a turbo from this company a while back now it came faulty sent it back and they sent the same one back to me. Then when it didnt work again they said i would only get the money back when they resell it. So i ended up keeping the faulty turbo

    I bought a bumper from car and van parts direct but received it broken. Even though they admitted it was involved in a crash in transit they still wouldn't refund me! Total rip off! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE THEIFS! I also asked them to paint the bumper for me but the colour was wrong and a really poor spray job. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THESE PEOPLE!

    Hi Thankyou very much for your information it will come very handy and yes trading standards are aware of my complaint about the company. I also noted that his staff where very helpful and polite. The web site I used to try to find a part for my car forwarded my details to him. I have also been in contact with them.     Hi Julie and mistreated,
    I recently bought a part through these guys (14 Nov). it didn't turn up, despite me calling every day..... at first "it was lost in post" so a new one was sent - after 1 week, they agreed to refund money as no part available. that was 20 Nov 12 and despite calling every day i have not had payment refunded to my credit card .
    think I'll follow trading standards too.

    ordered parts through parts gateway which a responmse cam from car and van parts direct.paid my my money and wrong parts arrived one my wife took in the other was refused and sent back. they said the right part would cost alot more which i did not want to pay and asked for refund.he said his boss does not do refunds. I am still waiting for a phonecall back.

    Chris phoned me today as I told him my friend who is a solicitor would take the matter to court as I had nothing to loose.It would cost Chris a dam lot more than £36.00 which he owes me.After all his f-ing and blinding he said he would give me my money back and told me to piss off and slamed down his phone. I will now wait to see when it is in my account,he has 10 days left to do so.I will let you know.anyway congrats Chris on the birth of your child which was last Friday.regards Mervyn.
