Took a contract out with car phone warehouse have not given out number which means car phone warehouse has passed on my number against my will. These people wana sell u BAD and EXPENSIVE phone insurance. Have phone insurance elsewhere but won't take no for an answer. Have called me 6+ times in 2 weeks.

Apparently I had 'recently' purchased a new mobile phone. So I asked them to confirm who they were calling, they were unable to do so.
I then explained to them that my name is Ash Whole and if they had also called my Welsh cousin Hew Jarce - the woman who called slowly realised that I was winding her up and started to laugh as she repeated each of the names.
They don't need to have been given you number, they can be dialling numbers randomly. -

I was called today ostensibly to discuss cover for the new phone I'd bought. I haven't and when I told the caller I hadn't, he got off the line pretty sharpish. BUT what is disconcerting, is that I now have to start exploring whether I'm the victim of identity theft...just in case. I could honestly do without this.

I called the number 01792 892443 and the company is called Multi Protection Insurance Cover. They are based in Swansea and asked if I had purchased a new phone or entered into a new telephone contract recently. I had done neither so I am confused as to how they came by my telephone number.

I could have put harrassing calls, aggressive marketing etc as well as telemarketer because these people are a nightmare. They DO NOT LEAVE YOU ALONE! They are trying to sell mobile phone insurance, but I have already purchased insurance elsewhere. Thus meaning somewhere along th eline, my details have been given out by a someone in the process of making up this contract.
