Shaun from Utilitywise asking to speak to a member of staff from our company. Asked what it was regarding & he said it was to ask what support our current energy suppliers were offering to us (was very tempted to say its none of your business!), he said it wasn't a sales call & could he speak to the named member of staff. Told him that the guy was a very busy man & to email & he said would it be read as he was also a busy man & he wouldn't want to waste his time writing an email that wouldn't get read. (No you just like wasting my time instead!!) told him again to email & the member of staff would reply to him when he was free. Rude, sarcastic & most definitely trying to sell something. Block!

Guy called from Utility Wise and asked about gas/elec. Advised them that we renewed this a few months ago. He then tried to tell me how the energy market works and I said I used to work for Npower so I know how the energy market works and asked them not to call again as we are not interested

Had a vague call saying Utility wise were biggest energy provider, not true. Also wanted to save us money-how kind! In reality they are trying to get people over to them prior to switches to different metres. Lots of bad press, and the number called is not same as on their website.

The new script the Utilitywise telemarketers are using seems to have an emphasis on being your buddy. Very informal attitude. The one who called us, Daz, didn't even state where he was from, trying to make it sound like my boss was expecting a call from him. She wasn't.

Unsolicited calls day and night to a business line that has had no contact with this company EVER and does not have any account / never has with any Utilities service as its a ghost number which is only found on our company website - its not actually linked to any address - STOP CALLING US - When calling to complain they advised I speak to Jane anderson on 0191 425 5912 - customer care !

I don't answer the phone, I let the answer machine kick in and the person ringing 9 times out of 10 hangs up.....then I google the number, sure enough 9 out 10 are scam callers...My number is a private house number aswell as a business, if it is a genuine customer calling they WILL and do leave a message.......

They've called several time despite our numbers being TPS registered abd their being explicityly asked not to call us.
It a pity the law doesn't provide for significant penalties. Fines and compensation of a few million pounds would soon stop them.

Just had two more calls from these idiots to our TPS registered number. I answered the first call and told the caller the number was TPS registered, that they'd been told several times not to call again. Ten minutes later they called again!

Caller asked to speak to whoever is responsible for purchasing power for the company! I replied no you can't and put phone down. These people have been ringing my mobile and house phone several times a day. Cold calling or what!

Some advice for people harassed by utility callers - tell them you are in RENTED business premises and the landlord is responsible for the utility providers - they have no answer for this and are only to happy to end the call.

Called by this business, told them we were not interested however man aggressively persisted in trying to speak to someone regarding the energy bills.
Would not take no for an answer so had to put the phone down on him before I told him where to go! -
