I received 3 calls in a day. I Googled the number and saw this and other threads. The girl said she was called Sophie Joyce (surname given after I questioned her for it) and the company she was working for was Outspire Insource on behalf of EE. Started trying to sell me some new deals. I revealed that I had Googled the number and had read that a number of people had posted to say it was a scam. In that situation, if it was a proper company acting as they claim then I'd expect the other person to deny it was a scam and ask where I'd read that so she could look for herself. Instead she told me that I hadn't Googled the number. She then tried to challenge me by saying "So if I do that now I'll see them? I won't because you didn't do that." I pointed out that I had no reason to make it up, and no interest in persuading her that I'd Googled the number, but it was very clear that this was a scam. She said "Right, thanks" (!) and I hung up. - caller: 01916740052
