Just got a call from this number. I could hardly understand a word the woman who called was saying. She first of all tried to confirm my name and address, which she *almost* had right. She then asked three questions: 1) Do I own a car; 2) Do I own a dog; 3) Have I ever had a loan or credit card. I answered all questions as "I prefer not to say" and of course did not confirm my name/address either. She asked why I didn't answer question 3) so I said it's because it's none of their business. The company name they gave began with a "V".

Repeated calls in the last few days by Asian sounding people with English names. Have repeatedly asked to be be removed from their database but to no avail. Also, am on the telephone preference register. These people are a nuisance and call early in the morning and late at night. When challenged, they just hang up

I am receiving three or four calls every day from this number. I have looked at the website of Verso Group and found two contact email addresses. I am going to email both ten times for every call I receive from them with rubbish. How about we all do the same - maybe the only language they understand.

I have had these calls in the past and asked them not to call again. On 4.03.15 the calls started again working up to 3 a day. Today they started at 8am and every hour since, each time I have asked "Stephen" not to call again. Other than the name I cannot understand his accent.

Number called at least once per day and hung up. When a woman with a script finally spoke on the other end she wanted to confirm my address, which were incorrect, for her database. I pointed out that I don't know the company and did not want to provide details. She could not understand me and repeated that the details were for correspondence. Eventually hung up on me. Decided to call the number (remove the additional 0 at the front as the call centre is off shore, but routed from a uk number) and press 2 to be removed from their calling list. Hopefully will be applied in 48 hours and I won't get anymore!
Lwild replied 3/10/15, 2:51 PMHa, I've just looked at the company. Lead generation for sales. By answering questions and allowing your number to remain on their database you will start to get calls from other businesses as you will be a 'pre-qualified lead' sold to business to consumer sales forces. They won't understand why you're not interested and as marketeers bonus related KPIs being more than 100 calls per day inconvenient drop calls are very likely.
