Beware of these scammers! They offer loans, but do not fall for them! They asked me to prove my identity by giving my credit card details - said that this will make the contract. Seemed strange to me that this should work without signing a written piece of paper. Several people have been scammed by them.

so many calls from his number in one day ,so i decided to answer and spoke to a women with an indian accent. knew straight away it was a scam after doing some previous research into these loan scams online. quite simple, they dont get you any loans whatsoever. they are just after your credit/debit card details and numbers. report them to action fraud online.

they call me 6 times a day at least and they asked for my card details for a loan. I have told them I don't want a loan and to stop calling me but they keep calling me every day. I don't answer it anymore maybe if I ignore them they'll stop. Harassment.
fred replied 3/22/16, 2:44 PMyou can set your phone to auto reject the number, click on the number. on the right hand side you should have a drop down and be able to auto reject. you will not even hear the phone ring. -

Harassment calls 12 calls in past 2 days. Tried giving me a loan and asked for card details.
Luckily I had searched the number before finally answering. I went along with it to see what they had to say and then asked them if they had read there reviews online.
They said no and I asked if they knew they were basically committing fraud. The Indian woman replied 'that's up to you' and hung up on me.
Obvious from what she said they know what they are doing. AVOID them at all costs. -

I don't and won't answer calls with an unrecognised dialling code. Money is one thing I don't need, not unless you're giving it away anyway. With access to up-to-date details that would be apparent. Just the fact that I don't pick up will put them off eventually. Won't it???

Thanks to this site I did not answer a call from this number and have now put a block on the number so they wont get through again (unless they use another one). Some of the messages on here are quite old but it seems these fraudsters are still at it!

phone me several times a day every day - i spoke to one person and i asked them NICELY to remove my number and name - they told me they couldnt do that and my name and details had been passed to thousands of other companies throughout the world ! He said he would not and could not remove my name and number!

they took 70 pounds from my sons bank he called and asked why they said he applied for a loan he asked when as he had never heard of them the indian women READ OUT SOMBODY TOTALLY DIFFERENT BUT THEY HAD MY SONS BANK DETAILS SHE TOLD HIM TO REPORT TO POLICE HE SAID STOP ANY FUTURE MONIES BEING TAKEN ON HIS BANK DETAILS SHE SAID SHE CPOLDNT UNTIL HE REPORTED TO POLICE GET A CRIME NUMBER AND HE SAID HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE THEY SAID 6 MONTHS FOR THEM TO PROCESS THEY ARE THIEFS

Have this number blocked on my phone and even then they still dial - my blocking app reports 3 blocked calls from them since yesterday - 2 last night and one this morning.
Tried using my call on hold facility and connected them to another number that has been spamming me.
This has previously worked with other scamming calls/nuisance calls. -

Received a call from this company yesterday, person on the other end of the phone pronounced my name wrongly and then asked me to confirm my address without telling me where they were calling from, she had my old address, I eventually hung up. In the hour after that call II received 25 text messages from 25 different loan companies each with my name (incorrectly) spelled the way the lady was pronouncing it. Text are still coming through and I am unable to block the companies the texts are coming from myself have had to speak to my mobile phone provider who have been great in sorting it. This is definitely harassment. Do not answer calls from this company.

My girlfriend applied for a loan and its the same thing, loads of calls a day but most of the time when I answer it they don't say anything, but when she answers someone asks her if she wants a loan. Gonna find a way to annoy them back maybe free online texting service spamming, see how they like it

I've just received a call from this number but didn't answer. On reading these reviews am glad that I didn't. I think this may be the same woman who contacted me last year - she had an Indian accent accent as did her partner - and the names they used were Christine and Michael. They were trading as Tagged Loans but their address in London was an abandoned building apparently. Was ripped off for £80 then but a lot wiser now. Don't fall into the same trap I did - was definitely approved for a loan then they wanted a further payment of £130 'just in case I failed to make the first instalement to repay the loan. By then I knew this to be a scam but didn't get my £80 back and all my calls to both of their numbers went unanswered once they knew I was after them.

Keep getting calls and a couple of texts so I've added them to an app i have that blocks numbers and texts. It hangs up on them instantly but is there anyway to get them to stop? Actually have about a list of 30+ numbers calling and texting me, I've never replied or anything but its been nearly a week :/ Getting about 13 texts every 2 hours ish :/ any advice?

Having researched the number before answering I went along with it. They have been calling me 5-6 times a day, once even 3 calls in two minutes. It's a loan company and they asked me for my card details and pin number. No one, not even the bank will EVER ask you for your pin number so obviously scammers/fraudsters. Stay well away from them.

I dont answer but if it is Star Loans they called me a number times from a similar 0203 number last year, I dont know who passed my number to them but other than change my phone number does anyone know how I can stop these calls from them permanently?karen replied 4/9/14, 12:15 PMI have had calls from this no all morning.
