It is payday UK. It will be to discuss any outstanding loan you have/remind you of any upcoming payments.
I ignored the call most of the month - finally answered it today and they refused to discuss with me as I would not pass DPA.
I went on to live chat on their website whom confirmed the call was from them - I have recommended they add the number they call from to their website as google search shows it as a telepest rather than a genuine call.
Unfortunately, the data protection act states DPA does need to be conducted on outbound calls to customers, not ideal, but if in doubt refuse and call the company yourself.
