I have donated to RSPCA for years. Due to the number of calls and actually no message I have just cancelled the DD.

I had a guarded conversation with the caller who, as mentioned above, was calling on behalf of the RSPCA. Apparently he wanted to confirm details for Gift Aid purposes, which raised suspicion in my mind as there are always boxes to tick when completing donation forms for any charity. He did have my name and postcode already and was very polite, but clearly working from a script. I have not ever donated by text.

Calls landline daily around 10am ... does not leave message.
Unknown to me.Sapphire replied 12/31/14, 4:24 PMThis number rings me nearly every day and no one there. I think it is to do with the RSPCA, as has been mentioned , as it is only since I donated £3 per a text advert that this is happening. Have rung the number mentioned and behold 2 days of peace and they back again.

Apart from a couple of days over Christmas, I've been receiving daily calls from this number for at least a week. I decided to call this number back and it turns out it's a company calling on behalf of the RSPCA. They do provide a number you can call to have your number removed from their calling list, which is: 03330110023 - just follow the prompts. The message said it will remove your number after 1 working day. Hope this helps?
