Called our business asking for accounts payable. Said his company was called Essential' which is not one of our suppliers, so admin screened the call, got rid of him and then we looked up the number to check if it was legitimate and found it wasn't. So we didn't call him back to find out what his pitch or spiel might be.

It's a stockbroker company called Central Markets. Tried to get me to invest. Don't trust anyone who does cold calling now. My late husband lost money with boiler room scams.
