I did not get the name of the person who called or their alleged "company" but I received a call from a guy who informed me that my computer had recently alerted them to some viral activiy that is going on and requires urgent attention! I humoured him for about a minute, telling him I am turning on my computer and following his instructions, as I am keyboard bashing to produce some ridiculous typing affect. Of course I do not trust that this was legit. Are there even companies that call you when you have a virus??? Hey, I have had many viruses before and noone took the courtesy to give me a tinkle. Hope this helps all you next victims out there. peace.
