This number rings about 7 or 8 times in a week. Usually I let it go to the answerphone where they just keep saying "hello hello" and eventually realise it's not a person at the other end. Last week I was working from home so was expecting calls regarding work, when this number rang & I answered the phone. They asked to speak to Mrs (surname), I said there isn't a Mrs (surname) living here, they then asked to speak to Mr (surname) the only Mr is my Dad who is ill so asleep at the time. I asked them which company were they from, but they kept saying they wanted to speak to Mr (surname), I said again that he is ill so he is asleep & didn't they understand that he couldn't talk to them. I asked again which company were they from but they just mumbled something. I got fed up then & told them I was waiting for a very important phone call & they were clogging up the line. They still carried on talking so I put the phone down on them. I tried phoning them back but the number doesn't exist, which is probably why I couldn't block the call.

I have entered my experiences here previously but nothing gets done about it, these harassing calls continue. In fact, I found a way to make a complaint about information being written here but even these people did not have the decency to reply. Therefore, other than people informing others of these scam calls, what is the real point of writing here?

Caller claims to be from National Refund Service which they also claim is a government agency.
Tells me I am due a refund from my bank.
When you question this, the Asian female begins shouting and screaming at me, I hung up only to have her call back several times ,hurling abuse and further nuisance calls when I relayed her phone number back to her 02151215115 she stopped.

total scammer. said I had a loan from 15 years ago and was due PPI. could hardly make her out. though they did have my name.some incoherent waffle about having money ready to deliver.Never known any banks doing the rounds round with a big bag of cash. as they say WTF.scary thing is though my old mum probably believe it.

Been calling for a few weeks asking for Mr. As there are 5 Mr in this house I ask which one and they hang up. Today asked for Mrs informing me they have a refund to pay into my account from a loan I took out in 2005 and paid off in 2009 said I never took out a loan and as i work in a bank Id know if I did. He said it was for car finance again said I didn't take out a loan didn't even have a car then he said I was stupid to work in finance and not taking out loans. I just laughed and said so if i were a teacher that means I must have children ,at which he replied you are just bring a stupid woman now. I said and you are a rude scamming moron and hung up

Have been plagued by this number calling landline up to 25 times a day saying i was due ppi refund from a loan (news to me)am going to call provider to see if i can get it blocked as they are driving me crazy and can be very aggresive at times total SCAM

Say they are pti or pip reclaims company, very dubious all have strong accents calling themselves John.
Knew our names and address claiming we took out a loan them yrs ago and are due ppi, didn't believe them if you say you can't recall they try to convince you to just read out what they have dictated to you admitting to having had the loan and what bank it was from Tec, I put down the phone in the end because I new it was rubbish and they have already tried calling back four times in half an hour. -

my daughter answered this call ..She was told she'd had a loan in 2007, and repaid it in 2011. (I don't know how she would have got a loan for £3000 at the age of 11, but obviously this company has better records than us. ) When she continued to talk over the caller, telling him to take us off his list, he told her to go forth and multiply and hung up....proof of a scam

Asian sounding man called Alex advised that I was due £2348 PPI refund from £4000 personal loan in 2005 repaid in 2009. I stated that I did not remember this loan. He asked me if the loan was from Lloyds , Barclays, HSBC. I informed him that I did not remember the loan. I KNOW I DID NOT HAVE A LOAN AS I WORKED IN FINANCIAL SERVICES. He asked again which bank loan was with. I repeated I did not remember the loan and as he had called me advising I was due £2348, he should just send me the cheque for the money due. Alex was flustered by this and said that a claim would need to be submitted to a bank to get the money. I reiterated if I was due a specific amount, just send me the money. At this point Alex had difficulty hearing me so I repeated just send me the money. HE HUNG UP !

I have had over 20 calls from this number. Today, I asked to speak to a supervisor as I have asked them 13 times to stop calling me. Supervisor talked over me then hung up. They say I am due £1650 back in ppi on a loan taken out in 2005 with RBS. Told them I have never had a loan with them. They then told me Bank of Scotland and RBS were the same bank. Have checked and have never had a loan at the time they state. They got annoyed when I refused to confirm I had a loan. Cannot get rid of them. Most of the time I don't answer when I see the number.

Called by this so called company yet again today (11:35 19-08-2015) claiming that I had not claimed my PPI refund on a loan I had in 2005.....I've never had a loan, so realised this was a scam....

Continually ringing and asking for a Mrs Angela Jackson. The first few times I calmly told them that nobody of that name lived here and to take us off their lists. However they still call back and now I've taken to ignoring the number. I'll be trying to get it blocked today.

This company "National Refunds" called regarding PPI from a loan I supposedly took out in 2005 in my married name with TSB Lloyds Bank. I didn't get married until 2008 and TSB Lloyds Bank didn't exist then - it was either Lloyds Bank or Cheltenham and Gloucester Building Society, plus I've never taken out a loan for £5000 (or any other figure) - so this is clearly some kind of scam.

Said on behalf of the government they are notifying any customers who have paid PPi ,that they will be receiving paperwork to sign and return . I was supposedly due £1,000 plus refund, on a personal loan which I had taken in 2005 -2009? With Loyds t.s.b. I have NEVER had a loan with them . This is a SCAM. !!! They knew my name and my husbands and our address. She said to hold the line while she transferred me to someone to do with documents ,just to confirm the paperwork details before it is sent to me . A short wait then a bloke answered ,by this point I was very suspicious ,told him I didn't believe a word and hung off . Not sure how they get any money out of you as no bank details were given and she said there was no charge to them . BEWARE . -

A phone call today, 4th August made no sense, contradicting the information discussed yesterday - whilst they know my name and address, they have no bank information so I hung up

Called to say I had loan from Nat west in 2005 & complete 2009 don't bank with Nat west never have can't see the point in these calls never asked for any money. Just a time waster. Do not take calls from this number

This is a PPI scam with one version involving UKash vouchers - they ring up and talk you through a PPI claim for a loan you may or may not have had and then advise that a Mr Smith is either going to bring round documents to sign and/or that they have the funds ready to deliver to your home but need a deposit in the form of UKash vouchers before they can do so. They need you to buy them and then they call back asking for the voucher numbers, which they can then go online and use; normally they ask for £200.00. There is a woman from Manchester involved but she is probably based in India with the rest of these disgusting scammers call from.

You only have to hear the Asian accent to realise that it will be a scam. They asked for me to confirm my name, I said that I was not who they were asking for. There then followed a long pause before he asked for me by name again. I then advised him that he was a scammer and he terminated the call with a load of verbal abuse, barely understandable. I will be giving the next one the Inland Revenue bank account number and sort code, hopefully they try and take money from there, let's see how far it goes...hahahahaha
