   Cold call, always can tell you get a short silence before a foreign voice says hello. A dog whistle blown hard down the phone has see off a few of them.

   The caller from this number introduced himself as "Alex". He had a slight Dutch accent and said he was from Windows IT Dept in Colorado USA and was calling about helping with my "computer operating under a breach and would soon crash". I said I was going out and asked for their number to ring them back but he said he would ring me instead. I got his number from 1471 and googled it to find a few reports associating it with phone scams.

   If you notice they are ringing for longer, after 25 rings you answer phone should kick in....

   Obviously automated call made to me several times a day. When I answer I'm sometimes told there's nobody available to tale my call at the moment. Not yet managed to speak to anyone at the other end.
