As I speak fluent French I answer these calls speaking nothing but French. It's quite funny hearing the person at the other end attempt to communicate with me in English. They seem to think that if they say the words slowly and loud then I'll understand. I don't give in and don't give them any words of English. They soon give up.

Had this number call our landline, claiming that it was something to do with the bank. The person they were looking for was not home at the time. They called again later. Looking at previous reports, it seems to only come from one named bank - Lloyds Bank. Coincidentally that's the same bank we use. After researching the number (to see whether it was Lloyds or a scam), I came across this site
Hekmat replied 2/10/15, 8:14 PMYes. I opened a bank account at Lloyd's and they called today. Need I to worry about something?hamburger replied 9/10/15, 7:08 PMsame here.mumbled something about a question I had at my local LLOYDS.we don't have LLOYDS we have only TSB.i asked him what querrie I had and he replied, nevermind.can you answer some .... and I disconnected him. -

Complained to Lloyds directly. Complaint was dealt with very well. They did say that when you are told there will be a servey to do you need to say no then so no call will be made. I am now excluded from any further calls at any time as well. They even paid for the call. Well done Lloyds

Previous reporters have been very helpful thenk you and I feel the call I received was quite legitimate as I had recently contacted a bank. However the call came at 21:00 on a Friday night so I quickly refused it telling the gentleman to call in 'office hours'.

My husbands get calls all the time from this number. Annoyingly during the day when he is at work and it is left to me to answer after doing night shifts. they have been told numerous times remove our number a I need to sleep during the day. My pleas are ignored.

Silent then hung up. 1. Ignored ex-directory. 2. Ignored TPS. 3. Phoned in "my time". 4. Hung up anyway.
NetworkResearchWorker replied 11/28/16, 3:12 PMHi, TPS actually does not apply to us because we are not a sales or marketing call. I will admit that our head sets are awful and therefore have to hang-up when it is a terrible like, so that could explain the silence. We are a genuine independent market research company commissioned by the bank to gather feedback to send it straight back, a lot of it is for the purpose of determining staff bonus, but it really does improve customer service as they know that they are being kept an eye on.Peter replied 6/23/17, 4:13 PMTo NetworkResearchWorker:
Network Research is not wanted, just as sales are not wanted. Stoppit. Now. -

I got a call from this number the guy said he was from Network Research and said he had a survey. I said I don't feel comfortable discussing personal details over the phone as he could be anyone but would be willing to consider a paper or email version of a questionnaire. He hung up.
He is not doing his company any good. -

Completely genuine. I work for a bank and all high street banks employ this market research company, who are bound by data protection laws which means they are unable to reveal details of where they are calling from until speaking to the account holder.
These calls help improve the service that you receive in your local bank.bignick47 replied 6/5/15, 4:26 PMStill bloody annoying and also disturbing. Should not be allowed to cold call whatever the reason. I have anxiety problems and find these most worrying to handle.Andrea replied 3/1/17, 10:01 AMWhat about the data protection of customers, whom the bank is breaking by passing on details to a marketing firm! However its dressed up, they are unsolicited calls for the benefit of an institution, NOT customer.Peter replied 6/23/17, 4:14 PMAnd they can't determine if you're the account holder without asking you for details. Giving them details is stupid, as they could be a hoax caller getting details they need to pretend to be you!
There is absolutely no need for surveys and research, ever. LEAVE US ALONE! -

Time wasters, pretending to be associated with you, as described by the person who worked for them. Probably got my number from Halifax in my case, as Halifax will give out info even when you've told them not to. That's why I stopped further investment with them and withdrew what I had. A genuine bank identifies themselves. Persistent, 'educated sounding', Scottish accent, female. TIME WASTER.

This is Lloyds customer feedback. Yes, it may be a marketing company but they are doing a job which is instigated by something or another you have done. We recently took out a loan with Lloyds and they advised me that I would be called to complete a short questionnaire as to how the advisor dealt with my application, information provided and so on. Its is not a pest caller, they will be calling as you are a Lloyds customer (I am not sure if they do other banks as well). Simple if you don't want these calls, just look up the Telephone Preference Service online and register your numbers. Then whenever anyone calls you advise its actually illegal for them to be cold calling you (which it is 28days after you've submitted your number to the TPS) and they cant hang up quick enough. Sometimes as these calls are linked to a service you have given permission to contact you (i.e your bank) then they will share your details and it doesn't fall under TPS guideline. Or just answer the phone and give feedback then they wont need to call again!
WheelieUk replied 2/17/15, 7:49 AMI don't have a Lloyds Bank account. This is a call centre that is working on behalf of several clients. (See other posts). I do agree they are conducting customer surveys though. In my case it was for Nationwide.crazyphonehog replied 4/30/15, 8:14 PMI don't use Lloyds, but do use Halifax, who have been pretty liberal with dishing out my details, despite being told not to. We're on TPS. It doesn't work. I check from time to time we're still on it, but if the company have been given your number, they'll use it.Con erned for your priva y replied 8/20/15, 8:54 PMIt is not needed or wanted and ime sorry but everyone has a right to privacy! A fact that now seems to be forgotten daily!!!Momma T replied 9/23/15, 4:15 PMI am registered with TPS (for about 6 months) and they still call constantly so it's not that simple. I have also Not been to the bank for any reason in many months so I'm not sure what I have done to warrant these calls. -

Tonight, at 19:20 24/09/2014, I was called by this number but as I don't answer unknown and 0800 numbers it was a fruitless call. By a coincidence I paid a visit to LLoyds TSB yesterday, first time in months. Never had this number call before and it won't be answered. Does that ring any bells? So be my guest whoever you are. Lol

Investigator WheelieUK reported Network Research with the number +448000128015 as Survey
This number appears to be a call centre. On one occassion the caller claimed to be calling calling on behalf of my bank (I dont use a bank). On the second occassion they claimed to be from Microsoft, responding to a report, generated from my system (Which had been offline for 3 weeks at that stage with an unrelated hardware issue). On both occassions I told them I was on TPS and that they should not be calling and that I had previously asked to be removed from their calling list. This number is now permanently blocked using the TrueCall Call Blocker.
WheelieUK replied 9/24/14, 8:02 PMAs a follow up to this, I contacted my bank and they confirmed that they do not and have never used Market Research as a company to do research on their behalf. They also confirmed it would not be a breach of the data protection act to confirm which bank this company is supposedly working on behalf off. My bank actually suggested blocking the number (Which I had done already) and even reporting the matter to the police and ofcom as a nuisence caller (I have reported to Ofcom, purely because of the persistance of this company, and also the TPS, who confirmed Market Research is not a member of TPS so may be why they are still calling) -

Calls at least once a day, normally late in the evening. Always asking for someone who doesn't live here, and no matter how many times we tell them, they still ring back. They've woken our baby up more than once and the next time they call I'll be letting them know that!
Emma replied 8/5/14, 10:45 AMAlso, a couple of times I've told them they've got the wrong person and they said, "oh, well, that doesn't matter!" and proceeded to try and get me to talk to them...! -

Just had call from these MORONS asking to speak to my wife about her satisfaction with her bank and any transactions ahe may have recently made. I asked them to identify which Bank they were supposed to be representing couldn't say. Suprise! Suprise! the old chestnut of the Data Protection Act was mentioned. Couldn't tell me what part of the Act though. Continued to ask to speak to my wife. Told female caller that she wasn't allowed to due to the Data Protection Act. Have been registered with TPS for donkeys years. Rang number afterwards company called Network Research- Market Research Company.

SaraH reported Network Research and Marketing LTD with the number 08000128015 as Survey
The call is from Network Research, I used to work for them briefly! They are a market research company who are commissioned by several well known banks to conduct surveys on their behalf, because the banks KNOW their customers don't appreciate it. This feedback then gets passed back to the bank staff and specific branches Its basically just the banks way of spying on their staff, all the questions relate to the member of staff who served you such as how friendly they were, how long did you have to wait, how knowledgeable they were etc. Network research staff work till 9pm which is a ridiculous time to be calling people hence why I quit. So if you have been into your bank to do any kind of transaction even if it was just to ask a question, chances are you will be called and asked to take part in a 5 minuet survey about a 30 second visit. The bank also ask that we do not reveal the name of the bank until we are speaking to the account holder, apparently its for customer confidentiality and believe me this upsets A LOT of people, and quite rightly so! If you tell the caller you don't wish to take part we then code that as a refusal meaning you will not be called back, so if you have refused you definitely should not be receiving another call, also if it goes to answer machine the system automatically books an appointment to call back. But believe me, no one hates their jobs more than these people do.

I went into the TSB to open a new account and the lady told me they would call me for a survey. Had a call from the number but missed it.
