As soon as I completed an online guarantee for an appliance this number called me, easy suggestion would be dont share your correct number or mobile number with them as this will prevent them making call to you

Number comes up and when answered big hesitation Did not say who was calling and when I the lady with foreign accent to say what she wanted she merely said it's about your cooker then rang of. Sick to death of these calls

Purchased a few days ago from AO.com. AO repeatedly called until I answered and tried to conceal the fact that they were offering insurance by talking about the benefits as if I already had them - “helpline number” repair/replacement. THEN revealed it was insurance. I said I don’t want it and maybe lead with the fact that you are trying to flog insurance.
So... today I have a call from this number which I missed - AO have “partnered with D&G”, they say. So they are still trying to sell me insurance. Ready for their next attempt! -

Interested to read Arnolds comments because he may have clarified who/why this number has contacted me twice within the last 1+ weeks.
I also have recently bought a BEKO product, Fridge freezer.
Why the person ringing my number chooses not to say anything is ridiculous or suspect.

I've not even bought a new appliance but keep getting pestered by this company.. I decided to answer today and the person that was on the end of the phone, put it down without speaking.... I am with the TPS and this is getting ridiculous.... When will it stop??L

A few years ago my Dad bought a washing machine but was out of town when they were delivering it. He gave them my mobile number so I could drive home from work to accept the delivery. Every year since then I get a call from D&G offering me insurance on a washing machine that isn't mine! No matter how many times I explain this to them they still keep ringing every year!

My son answered the phone and passed it to me. A voice clearly stated who they were and that I was being recorded. I asked where they got my number from (as its a brand new line and I have not given it to anyone at all!)They said I was on there system as I was a customer of there's. I said I wasn't and they said I had bought an indosit washing machine. My washing machine is 8 years old and not and indosit!!! I kept saying where did you get my number from and an annoying English voice said I understand madam and ignored my request. I asked repeatedly to speak to a supervisor and was ignored. He then said ok and asked if it was ok to put me on hold. I said no and he hung up. At no point did they say my name and I feel they are just random calling con artists. I have many missed unknown calls on my landline over the past few weeks and I expect its them. I did tell them I would be reporting them to the telephone preference service as I am on there list and they are breaking the law. I encourage everyone to report them.

You may be a customer without knowing.
I'm going to buck the trend here... yes it's D&G, and they had a valid reason to call me.
I'm sure they probably cold-call too but for me I am a customer already.. and many of you may be too without knowing.
My 2 year manufacturer's warranty was 1y manufacturer + 1y exended.. that 1y extended part was supplied by D&G.
Also - may be worth answering.. my exetended had run out and I had declined the postal offers to extended it further. After the 3rd postal offer was ignored they called me.. and the price had magically dropped to something acceptable. (fridge freezer, £3.40 a month) -

Started taking Direct Debit from my account, after I told them I didn't need continuing insurance on an appliance I don't own anymore.
Call blocker activated as they called 2/3 times a day, wanting to know why I had cancelled the DD. Very Annoying!! -

the owner of our property gave my number as contact to let me know when kitchen appliance was been deliverd nit even 24 hrs after delivery they are hounding me to sell insurance and i never bought the product they like wolves as they see a number sonthey feel they need to attack and hound you ........

This number has called me several times in the last few days. Tried to call them back & found it was Domestic & General. They are only trying to sell you something. Not going to answer their calls in future. They're just nuisance calls.
