Called me just now, woman asked to speak to L.... M..... whom I knew slightly, she used to live a mile up the road and moved some time ago. I used to get calls for L... M... in error from debt collection companies and I have no idea why they have my number rather than hers. Told the woman this, and that I found it upsetting to be called, and she said she'd take my number off the database. Will she? Or will my number just be passed on to heaven knows who?

Started calling me about 2 weeks ago, usually just after 8am or around 4pm. Answered once but now use phone's blocking mode to stop their calls. The phone logs the calls but does not respond.

Cabot have being calling me every other day, i answered once and found out it was them. Now when they call I answer but leave the phone on the side, don't speak or put the phone to the TV really loud.
Hopefully they will get the message. -

This company has been calling me now for about 6weeks. Like others my first call is just after 8am and I always have two missed calls from them before 9am. There have been times when I can hear people in the background but they are not talking to me.
I wish they would take the hint and leave me be. At first the contant calls were stressing me out due to the house phone ringing at least once an hour. But this stress has since turned to anger so god help whoever is on the other end if I pick it up.
What a job! People who like to pressurise and torment others over the phone are just awful. I can think of so many other ways to make money. ....... sad ba#*ards! -

I get up to 5 calls a day on my landline and mobile number. They never leave a message. I have unplugged my landline because they are driving me mad. They call as early as 8am and as late as 9.30pm. I just wished they'd stop

ive recieved a letter from these regarding my yorkshire bank account, they keep ringing and i assume they leave a voicemail for me, but when i go to it, i can hear talking but no message for me, which is so frigging annoying me.

A debt recovery firm who claims to buy old debt of banks etc.
Then harrases the person to agree a payment plan - even thow they have no legal right and would never end up in court.
All ways blank the call do not answer any questions.

This company whose address is 1 Kings Hill Avenue, Kings Hill, West Malling Kent, ME19 4UA, now adopts silent calling. I have now submitted a bill for £10 per call received to my landline. To date, I am awaiting a response from company, and will take this company to court if payment is not received
