Received a call today from this number about washing machine breakdown cover. Male caller, no discernable accent. I asked him what kind of washing machine we have, and he couldn't tell me. I asked which company he was calling from, but I didn't catch what he said. When asked how he got my number, he said from the Financial Conduct Authority. I said that the FCA should not have given out our number, and he hung up. (we are ex directory and registered with the TPS; our machine is at least 12 years old)
