    I have managed to confirm that calls from this number are from a company debt management company called Stephenson Drake (www.stevensondrake.com. They operate by automated cold calling your number. You will either hear silence or a message asking if you are having problems with debt. If you press '5' to speak to someone then you are cut off BUT your number is stored and you will receive a follow up call from them.
    Their number is 0161 826 6182
    They also use:-
    08434108745, 08434107237, 08439601357 and other numbers to cold call.

    Further to my last entry I have just had a conversation with Bernard Berstow (0161 826 6182)and previously some of his staff (Mandy, Lauren, Sophie and Danny). Bernard is the manager of the Northwich branch and states (as do his staff) that they sub contract their marketing and calls come from this company. If you supply him with your number then he can put it on his 'suppression' list so you won't get calls from them or others that he supplies the list to. However no one can tell me the name of the marketing company so I can contact them to stop all calls. He's a very reasonable chap - give him a call and get your number removed :-)

    08434100450 called at 6pm on a Sunday, I never answer 08... phone calls and furthermore 'real' people know not to phone me on the mobile the untrustworthy '08434..' phoned me on. In short, I didn't answer, but obviously it is an untrustworthy number.
