I don't usually answer the house phone during the day, as I am sick to the back teeth of all the random unsolicited calls which we receive. However, as I am expecting a call from a family member, I made the mistake of answering it about 10 minutes ago. In the usual type of recorded message, I was told that the amount of my personal injury claim is now between £3,000 and £4,000 and that I could ask for the information pack to be sent out to me or I could opt out by pressing appropriate numbers. Hands up all those who are surprised to learn that I haven't had a personal injury, let alone a claim to go with it!!! Without an actual person to speak to and without a company name available for this number,, how is anybody meant to complain? And what happened to the legislation which was meant to imminent months ago? Grrr!
