Michael reported Lloyds Bank with the number 08456031755 as Trustworthy number
It's genuine Lloyds Bank fraud prevention service. They don't ask for PINs, passwords, etc. They do try to help protecting you from fraud, i.e. someone else might be using your credit/debit card details, so they try to help you. Be nice to them!

Fuck U reported LLoyds apparently with the number +448456031755 as Cost trap
Had a text and phone call from a Scottish man saying he was from lloyds bank saying a company tryed taking money out when i was at work with the card. He then ask me my name dob ect and where the card was! i did not tell him where the card was. He then said i should cancel my card asap.. I said no im not doing that an hung up. I have talled my bank. And police. The police said they will get people to close there accounts and then they phone the bank up and readdress they account.. Or they pretend to be the bank calling back and get your pin. I am determand to find out who this SCottish low life is ! I work hard for my money. They know alot about me and have to rearrange my life now. Not Happy!
Trucker replied 2/14/16, 10:00 AMIt actually is LLOYDS Bank phoning you. This is the number they use for fraud prevention. Check on their web site. I have calls from them all the time due to the number of overseas transaction I have.
I think you the owe the Scottish Gentleman an apology because he was just doing his job.Sarah replied 7/29/16, 3:41 PMI just contacted Lloyds Bank as I too received two call this morning and they informed me that all Lloyds Bank number begin with 0345 and NOT 0845 and was told it is a SCAM!Colin replied 7/30/16, 12:34 PMIf you phone the 0845 number now the first thing it does it tell you about the 0345 number which is the same number but 0345 instead of 0845 it offers to let you continue on the 0845 but warns how much it may cost. Not sure who you talked to at Lloyds maybe they need to get their facts straight as well.
In my case I got through to them eventually and it turned out to be a valid transaction but it looked out of the ordinary.Colin replied 7/30/16, 12:39 PMLet me expand that slightly. Lloyds numbers used to be 0845 numbers, they have changed to 0345 numbers, it seems the outgoing automated call system still shows 0845 when it calls.
So the person at Lloyds was correct as it is today but maybe did not know about what it used to be or that the automated call system is still showing 0845. -

Chris reported number 08456031755 as Lloyds
0845 603 1755 is genuine. I was very suspicious of the call (and the text message sent to my mobile) so immediately hung up & checked my account online.
Sure enough, a pending debit card payment of £30 to "O2 PrePay Slough" definitely not authorised by me as I'm not (and never have been) an O2 customer.
A phone call to the Lloyds number printed on the debit card - they blocked it & they're sending me a new one. They rang me back to say they're sending me a form to fill in, refunding the £30 & that two more transactions were attempted after the card was blocked.
So... in this instance the number is legit & my account could have been seriously compromised if I'd ignored it.
I'm not suggesting that people should automatically trust calls/texts of this nature. IF IN ANY DOUBT, CALL THE NUMBER PRINTED ON THE BACK OF YOUR CARD. Also, check that you have a dial tone before dialing in case the previous inbound call hasn't disconnected. -

I too received a call about some recent transactions on my account. But after them calling me they then wanted to confirm some details (i.e me just hand over details over the phone) no wayyyy

Investigator Olaf reported unknown with the number 08456031755 as Cost trap
The scammer pretended to be an employee of Lloyds Bank and wanted to get to my data. I hung up immediately and alerted the Lloyds Bank and since they told me that last night, has anyone tried to withdraw money from my account. I was not and could prove it and that depends 100% along with this number.
