   Claimed the were working for the government. Tried to get money in exchange for a cheque, we're prepared to send someone to my father's house. Wouldn't say where they got details from and abused me when quizzed. Clearly scammers.

   What a bloody pain in the bottom! Yet another 'junk' call trying to sell so called 'energy saving' products. It's. Bank holiday afternoon, why should I be bothered about this rubbish. Why don't you spend it with your families instead of pestering others? If you have an answer phone let that take the call instead.

   Damned telemarketing people again trying to hide behind marketing survey. THIRD TODAY! What is the point of being ex-dierectory and TPS registered? Funny the more I report them to ICO the more I seem to get. Think I will get rid of the phone!

    They phoned just after 3pm on a Sunday afternoon, just as I was settling into the Six Nations rugby. Told them that my advice to them would be to leave me alone.

    "National Advice Centre" - just happened to be calling my number, cos they use a "national database" to gather information to sell their super energy saving stuff. I told him to do one, and check the law on telemarketing, as I am TPS registered. As per normal, I ask to speak to the manager, at which point I get cut off. Pond life.
