   caller purports to be from Microsoft Support and aiming to address potentially harmful files in computer. after plausible discussion asks you to log on to Internet, but ended call when I said i would ask my son who is a microsoft certified technician to call him back

   This number appeared on my BT bill as being an "operator call" costing £15.84 for a 15.39 minute call that no one here made.
   Why should an operator be needed to make a call that can be dialled?
   The BT call centre were less than helpful.
