    I recently had a call claiming to be PC World Maintenance Dept (or similar) trying to inform me that my computer was downloading viruses etc, I've worked in the IT industry for 20 years so my response to them was to say 'Rubbish' upon which they hung up on me. I got the number 0441234765093 after doing a 1471.

    Guessing they were going to try and 'sell' me some antivirus software!

    FAke! Try to get you to check out your computer, they have just moved numbers. They get you to a remote connection to you system, then charge you £157 for deleting temp files and clearing your eventviewer log.

    This caller tried to take control of my computer by asking me to run the file Ammy. He said he was from windows error reporting and he could see on his screen that my computer had over 2000 error reports.
    I didn't run the file, as my windows firewall blocked it when i clicked Run, and i was suspicious.

    This number call me in France everyday telling me to push the "9" in order to reject the call and telling me that I would be cost free (I know this is stupid and this is for that reason I consider this number like a cost trap).
