Call twice a day, everyday, but I just keep 'red buttoning' it.
I used to able to block certain numbers on my last mobile, but just got a Blackberry 8830, and I can't find anyway of doing it. I've heard you can buy apps but I don't really want to be spending moneyGabble replied 7/24/14, 8:39 PMI have same problem with this number calling work and mobile. However,when they call mobile it is safe as Three will block it if you report it to their spam number 7726 - perhaps your provider has similar system?

Getting marketing and survey calls are always frustrating and I got about 4 of those from this number on almost a daily basis. After a week I had enough. I called their grievance cell number which this caller kindly posted in this complaint site and told them to cut me out of their calling list. They assured me that I won’t get to hear from them again and they actually kept their promise. What a relief!

Numerous calls during July from this number, missed most as working. Tried to call back to find number didn't exist! followed by non-European message. Calls continued mainly around lunchtimes, 3 or 4 a day. My phone provider suggested I answer as unable to block on my contract. Finally answered a call. A woman speaking barely discernible English knew my name, and asked me to confirm. She said not to worry, she wasnt selling anything, but ringing from the British Security Service!! I told her I was extremely suspicious and asked her NOT to call anymore. I had one more call later that day. I have emailed the British Security service to advise them of this rogue caller.

I won’t deny that I had a tough time dealing with these unwanted survey calls. But the other day I saw a post from the company responsible for these calls on a complaint forum and decided to call the grievance cell of the company. They greeted me cordially and listened to me patiently, took my details and promised me that I will not receive any calls henceforth. I did not believe that they will keep their promise, but they actually did. For the past 5 days I have not received a single call from this number. Now that’s some prompt action.

Had a missed call very day for a week, tried to call back got an Egyptian message then an English one saying the number was out of use. They called again today and I answered, she knew my name and my address, I told her I wouldn't confirm it and asked her what she wanted and who she worked for. She didn't answer but told me I had to answer three questions or she wouldn't leave me alone. This repeated itself twice more, me asking her who she was and her asking the first question "do I read a newspaper". She was rude and threatened to keep calling me if I didn't answer, even though I repeatedly asked her to stop calling me and to take me off the call list. I reported it to my network and I have blocked the number from my handset

She quoted my old postcode and when I told her that was incorrect she asked me for my new one. Told her I had no idea who she was so I wasn't going to and she hung up. Dodgy

The gent on the phone asked me to confirm my address and had my previous address. I started asking questions as to who he was calling from and he said it was a local council survey. When I asked why he was calling me from Egypt he said he was actually calling from a call centre in Canada. This is obviously not true. Something doesn't add up here

I have a phone on my husband's contract and they asked for him by name. I can only assume that Vodafone sold the number on as I have always used my name with this number. When I asked for the name of the company the guy hung up on me. Blocked them now.
