Same story as several below:
I got a call (here in Denmark) from this number this morning. I took it because I have friends in the UK and because I have international job application pending.
The guy on the line told me, there were problems with my computer. I asked him to repeat from which company he was calling, and he replied Microsoft Headquarters. I told him, that now I knew he was lying (I don't use windows), and he asked why? why? And I hung up.
4 hours later a call from the same number. Now I've blocked the number. -

Woman telling me there was some problem with my computer. I asked her if she new which computer I had and she claimed she did.
I asked her if she could send me some money to feed my 4 (non existing)children and if she wanted me to call the police. She said yes and a lot of things I didn't understand and then she hung up. Amusing if I see beyond the fact that this was a scam phone. -

A woman (probably Asian based on her bad pronunciation) called and tried to convince me that she was from Windows and my pc is sending message to their system. It was thousand times more dangerous than any virus, according to her. I hang up as soon as she proposed to show me how to solve the problem on my pc. Why anyone from UK will call to Norway to resolve the Windows problem? There are enough local professionals. Obvious fraud.

Claiming there's errors on my computer.
Fraud-numberNeil replied 8/26/16, 7:05 PMCalled daily saying the same that suspicious activity from my pc. Claim to be Microsoft. I work in IT and when asked to validate their claim they hang up.

I had missed call this morning from this UK number (I live in Denmark) & since I'm in my job application process I thought it was job related. Luckily I googled this number first & found this webpage. Now they called me again, I picked up & told that I already googled the number & know it is a scam. They hung up immediately. Thank you for sharing that! Anyways what else is there to do to stop those scammers? It's really annoying me that there are people out there doing this.
They called me as well :) but I've played dump. So they will call me again around 4pm :))
