SCAMMERS.
Unfortunately, even when you block these numbers they ring again on a slightly different one. Absolutely no respect for the Telephone Preference Service, which an ethical company would respect. In this instance I asked them to hang on and put my phone in front of a speaker blasting out Motorhead at high volume. They had gone when I went back a minute later!

The caller knew my name and address. She wanted to talk about insurance for home appliances. I explained that I did not believe in such insurance. She then said that my appliances were probably a fire risk! I told her that this was an unsolicited telephone call - despite my number being registered with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS). When she simply continued with her blurb about home appliances, I told her to remove my number from their system and hung up. AVOID
