Yet again just had 3 minutes of fun with an asian that seemed to struggle speaking and understanding English. I told him when asked what I used my computer for that I use for flights to the moon and back, deep sea underwater exploration and use it for round the world cruises etc.
I 'did what he said' and when he asked me what I was seeing on my screen I replied that there were martians, ghosties and all sorts on it. I then told him that I could play all day if he wanted to but then for some strange reason hung up on me.
What a waste of space these oxygen thieves are! Why do they bother! Guess that's the name of the game when scamming but certainly don't like it when you play them back at their own game.Jacquie replied 9/2/17, 10:17 AMBy answering their questions you could be incurring call charges on your own bill! This is what some of the overseas pests do! Also, it's not safe to let them know what equipment you have etc., because you're then condoning their calling you and will call again!
Get yourself a gym teachers' whistle and blow it down the receiver when they call again.... which they will! -

Told me I was having lots of problems with my Windows PC. I am a computer support engineer so I kept him talking. Eventually he admitted that they install SYSKEY to lock non-payers out of their computers. SYSKEY is an old password system from the WindowsNT days, but still exists in Windows operating systems today. Once enabled you cannot start Windows without their password. Wouldn't tell me where they were but (by the delay in the voice system) I suggest it was a VOIP Call from India.

Received a phone call from this number today 9th August 2017 at 1224. Very strong Asian accent saying she was a Microsoft engineer and my computer has been compromised and is sending out my details onto the internet.
She asked me to go to my computer.
She sounded as though she was reading from a script and did not quite understand what she was reading, so I asked her if that was what she was doing. She went silent so I repeated the question.
She hung up.

Asian speaking extremely poor English. Said he was ringing to give me technical advice about my pc and was I the the owner of the pc. I said I couldn't understand a word he was saying and he needed to speak in English. He went thro his speech again so I gave the silent treatment. He then hung up. Don't give these Asians any information. They want to take control of your pc, get all your information and rob you of your money. Scum

Used BT callguard to block this number as fed up of the Microsoft scam of trying to gain control of pc
Or they use scam about a direct debit not going through and they try to get your card details especially your 3 digit code to rob your account

by simply viewing customers' screens to check out which numbers we cut off immediately and block them, especially the overseas ones!
