Defender Grumpy reported Talk Talk fake with the number +1800130279 as Harassment calls
This call was similar to the one I got yesterday from 001891614733 with the same noisy background. The man in a foreign accent said he was from Talk Talk. He said dangerous material was getting through my router, and wanted to know what it was connected to. When I said it was connected to my computer and I was using it he instructed me to press Ctrl and the logo key at the same time, as this would allow me to identify what was coming through. I said I would have to finish an email first. I could then call him back. When I asked for his number he said it was 1800 443 770. I did not call him back!! On numerous occasions these people have called me with the same story, or variations of it, using Withheld numbers. Sometimes they do not even speak. Usually they ring off after a short while. Last week it happened ten times in two days. I was being polite to them because I wanted to get a number I could report here. Now I have, as they appear to have started new tactics so they appear more genuine.
