   Obvious cost trap, some impressive backpedaling shown (I'd asked to call Microsoft back, but they refused to give contact details), but don't trust this number.

   A very obvious scam. Told me they have detected attempts to access my computer. "You have a computer with Microsoft, yes"
   Well yes, so does most of the western world.

   Usual scam rubbish - the fact the number they rang is not even connected to the internet - so knew it was completely bogus. Got put through to a technical supervisor and confused him bysaying that I had no windows key and a it was a touch screen tablet. He soon hung up.

   Indian woman called to tell me she was from Microsoft and my computer had alerted them that it had a virus. She could walk me through process on my computer of getting rid of the virus. Needless to say I put the phone down. She called again 2 seconds later but I did not answer. AVOID this number, obvious scam!
