Asked about Brexit - usual poor English with Indian accent. Just kept repeating "yes" to every question she asked (e.g. do you prefer A or B? "Yes") and then chanted yes every five seconds until she had got through her script and hung up

Female caller with Indian accent asked to speak to me, but I pretended to be my assistant.
She asked for my name and I made one up, which she asked me to spell. I then asked her to repeatedly say my fake name like a fine Spanish wine.
I then asked her to spell her name and when she stumbled at the simple spellng of Smith, I knew whe was a pants caller.
She then went onto say she was doing a survey about what people thought about Brexit, then I said a profanity and hung up. -

THis issue is like that: If a company switches to VOIP (Voice over IP) and calls i.e. from Toronto or Tokyo to a Swiss Number (i.e. my number) then the server(s) just try to find a free channel and use that. If this servers are not setup properly by the Telephone company joint with the customer, passing the callers number and substituting it properly at the server calling into Swiss (i.e.) the you see that what people say. Once it will be a Trader,next a Marketeer then a real SPAM, then just some one else you dont know. If the channel is once established you get almost ever the same caller on the line when you take a call. But making a call to this numbers leads most of the time into nirvana. My trader knows now about it and will take an action and work out a solution that each of his clients after that knows again who is calleing. I was called this morning from a the head compliance officer of a larger trading and asset managment which had dozends of clients claiming for the same issue. Over all, be carefull but try to establish a different connection even by writing a letter and send by postal mail to have tem work on such issues. BTW: SKYPE can do it correct but only if you as a SKYPE User setups SKPE to transmit your nummber instead of the channel nummer taken by the carrier servers.

This guy pretends to call for Microsoft. Won't stop calling. I once told him never to call again in English; didn't help. Now I pick up in Swiss German, which seriously infuriates the guy and makes him hang up. Good fun, but I still hope it'll get rid of him for good.

A call from England to Switzerland.... Why? Speaks English with a strong Indian accent, asked to speak to my husband... but as I only talked with him in Swiss German since he's making a call to Switzerland he repeatedly asked to speak to my husband... and then hung up as I didn't want to talk English with that guy....

My wife answered the call, but the female caller only wanted to me by name. As I was out she asked if there was another male person in the house, as there was not, the caller said she did not want to talk to my wife and put the phone down.
