Called to conduct a survey with a manager, after hearing I'm the manager, they asked me if there are any gentlemen in the office. I told them no, response: we need to talk to a gentleman, no lady managers are surveyed". Reminds me an afwul lot of a number that called me a few years ago asking to talk to "the man of the house" despite me saying that this is a company phone number and the board and managers are all women.

nachdem Gesprächsverlauf (englisch) offensichtlich nicht zufriedenstellend verlief (ich verwies darauf,dass er sich per Mail an uns wenden solle), wurde ich in Warteschleife gesetzt (man machte auf dringend).
Bei wiederholter Anrufannahme wurde ich sofort in die Warteschleife gesetzt -

Person who called did not introduce himself or explain why he called, but kept asking for personal information. Who the number belonged to, if it belonged to a company or a private person, what my name was and if I were a Miss or a Mrs. By then I told him not to call me again, hung up and blocked the number.
