An Asian-sounding gentleman called, claiming to be from the "Windows technical department," insisting my computer was being used for illegal activities by hijackers. When I said I believed it was a scam and hung up, he persistently called back multiple times, insisting it wasn’t a scam and stressing its importance. He even claimed he could prove it by providing details of my computer’s license number. Despite his efforts, I stopped answering the calls, recognizing the situation for what it was, a clear scam attempt.
