I appreciate that they need to raise funds, but badgering people who already donate on a monthly basis is, to my mind, the wrong way to go about it, as I am more likely to stop donating altogether than increase the amount I pay.
Graham replied 2/15/18, 4:39 PMI had a call last year from them and increased the amount I pay a month an recall telling them at the time that I do not wish to be hassled to increase the amount in the future.
You're right about it making me think I'd rather stop completely because of them hassling me. I have a lot of "missed" calls from this number recently and I'm beginning to feel rather harassed.
They should use their marketing budget on getting new subscriptions instead of badgering me.
Next time they call I may just answer and cancel my payments and see what they make of that! -

I originally supported them and like everyone else continue to be called and sent mail so cancelled the monthly subscription the had already been increased for a second time. Even now I have just had a missed call from this number. This association seems blinkered to their aggressive fund raising campaign and are no doubt losing more and more support. Let's hope they come to their senses soon.
I will not recommend anyone supporting them. If they do they can expect to be harassed mercilessly. Give it to the Great Ormond street hospital instead...... -

Keep getting calls to request increase in donation. I have now cancelled as this was done with good intent but I hate being pushed for more money and getting the sob stories as well. I used to pay what I can afford but now I am donating it to another cause. They will chase away more than donations than they can increase at this rate.

Use to sponsor a dog until April. Due to financial difficulties as well as finding out the dog I sponsored was removed from program (in January) my donation was given to another dog without informing me and wanting more money. This number has been calling me on my mobile 3x a week for last month but I haven't answered as not on my call list.

No matter how many times I block them they find me using another number, this one included. They are horrible people, incredibly abusive when you ask to be removed from their list they just harass you even more, disgusting!

With all good intentions I agreed to sign up to donate monthly. I get so many calls that start with the sob stories and I can’t get a word in. They waste my time or and make me feel harassed. I wish I never bothered to sign up. Every time I speak to them (I never know it’s them calling- otherwise I’d ignore it) I tell them to stop calling me but sometimes I get 3 missed calls a day.

Used to donate to Guide Dogs for the Blind. Stopped for a combination of financial reasons and because I always had to chase information about the dog I'd sponsored (as a gift for someone) because none of the promised updates were ever received. Now getting daily calls, presumably to ask me to start donating again.
