Left me a voicemail. Went to listen, just heavy breathing down the phone with someone mumbling in the background in a very quiet office-like environment. A few young-sounding giggles were also heard. Message was only about 10 seconds long.

The caller gave his name and said he was from "The National Advisory Service" and that they had on their records that I had "some years ago" worked in manufacturing. Replied I had not and please to no call me again - he was still going through his spiel as I hang up!

they phoned me and asked if i had worked in a factory as they were investigating my hearing loss claim. Told them i hadn't worked in a factory and asked where they got my number. She said from several sources so told her to remove my number off the database.

This company called me this morning. They had my postcode and my name and said I had done industrial work previously. I asked them where they got my number and they said from a National Company (National Advisory Service). They are lying the woman who spoke to me could hardly be understood as she was probably African and hung up when I continued to question her. I think its a good idea to send them all rubbish mail/anything at all, minus a stamp so they have to pay.

They claimed they were updating their work records and said I had been working in the industrial sector. "Nope". And that I've worked with tools and machinery. "Nope". I told them they shouldn't have my number and she beat a hasty retreat.

The said my name and asked if I worked in the industrial sector and if I'd ever had any problems with my hearing? I replied..."Pardon?". He asked if I'd ever had any problems with my hearing regarding loud equipment? I replied..."Pardon?".

Said my number had been given through Reactive Media - another company that is rated 'untrustworthy' - no idea how they got my number (I am on TPS). Must have been trying to sell something, maybe insurance, but didn't get that far!

They rang me today for the second time in less than a week. Said that they understood from my records that I had worked in industry. Told them I had never worked in industry in my life and said that they were talking a load of old bo******. Said the same thing to them last week. It's very annoying as I am unemployed, every time my mobile rings I keep thinking someone is calling me in relation to a job I have applied for. I get very angry when it turns out to be a call from a scam merchant.

This number called 4 times in 10 minutes, it is on the reject list from the first time it called ages ago, i am on nights so this type of call is a pain, any unrecognised number is put straight to the reject list and that is growing well.

Daily calls on my mobile around mid day for last two weeks. Very persistent as i don't answer after the first call asking about working in industry in the past (which i never have!). May answer with some abusive comments or blow a whistle down the phone if it continues. Well done to the contributer who has posted these people's address.

Just put a brand spanking new SIM in my phone and a few hours later I get a call from Bolton. I didn't answer but so far they've called me almost every day, usually after 11am (I work nights so not happy).

i get called from number 01204329378 on a daily basis i get called from other numbers too, i dont know who they are because with these calls i usually check first on the internet to see what others have said when they have answered them and if they say its to do with selling, harrasment or scams i dont bother to answer it the next time they call more than once a day very annoying

number 01618149030 asking the same question, in both cases it is from the North of England hence Bolton and Manchester. Pain in the butt!!. -

immediately told them to remove my number. Was told that "they cannot do this"!!! "we buy our data from a third party so we cannot remove your number"?? Did not listen to my order as owner of this data to remove it, just said I was shouting. Which I wasn't untill after that comment
