   (...cont from previous post) PV+ is a replacement solar panel inverter imported via BNEW www.bnew.co.uk/solar-pv-plus/ It claims to solve an over-voltage cut-out problem with "all" inverters that allegedly lose ~25% of potential output. BNEW licenses a few UK agencies (e.g. NGR?, greentec), who've been selling it for ~£2k, with 3yr guarantee of 25% over ave FITS income. I became suspicious when greentec assessor visited but did not measure supply voltage. BNEW says it only works if supply voltage >243V (mine is not). I suspect the scam is greentec take your £2k, go out of business, don't pay out your guaranteed income, and don't care if it doesn't increase your output.

   My report of 1-Aug-2016 should have said NGR, Next Generation Renewables (not MGR). AFAICT NGR is not http://www.ngre.co.uk/ They called me because I bought Solar PV early on, according to the MCS database. The girl was helpful not abusive this time. But unaware she's selling a scam. Promoting 2nd phase gov't solar FITs scheme, PV Plus, claiming 25% tariff increase. I explained: PV+ is not gov-backed. I have allowed a PV+ assessor to visit before, and looked into it in detail. I believe it is a scam (see next post for details).

   They have called me 4 times in 2 weeks about energy saving products for solar panels. Each time we have politely declined their offer and asked to be removed form their call list. Today during asking to be removed from the list, they just put down the phone with me mid sentence.

   The call centre agent said she was calling on behalf of MGR assessments and believed I had solar panels. I said I wasn't going to confirm anything about myself until I knew who was calling and why (perfectly reasonable security precaution). She got extremely nasty... Me: "You are calling someone you don't know, so the least you can do is apologise for interrupting and ask if I have a moment." Her: "Oh, I'm sorry King {MY_SURNAME}, didn't I bow and scrape enough." Me: "Look, I'm on TPS, so you shouldn't be calling me anyway." Her: "This is not a marketing call, so TPS doesn't apply." Me (after hesitating): "But you're still interrupting me." Her: "Ha, you hesitated there - didn't know how to answer that one did you. Well, f**k off and have a nice life (disconnected)".

   It was NGR (Next Generation Renewables), not MGR (they just called again). See my follow-ups on 2-Aug-16 about why PV+ is probably a scam.

    I have had several calls from this number during the last 2-3 weeks.I don't normally answer and no message is left, on the few occasions I have answered it was regarding increasing the output of my solar panels.One caller told me to f-off when I said it sounded like a scam.I won't be answering again.

    Calls from this number tried to convince me they have a gadget to increase solar output on my panels by 25%. To do that without changing the panels or increasing them would be breaking the laws of the Photoelectric Effect written by Einstein in 1905. He won the Nobel Prize for it. They told that I didn't know what I was talking about. This call centre is full of con tricks. Don't believe a word from them. I have written to trading standards... from a Physicist
