Crackly line on my mobile at first, then somebody asked if I'd been involved in an accident. As above told them where to go in no uncertain terms. These muppets are laughable really, but I'm submitting this link to CrimeStoppers, the UK Police can't do their job without information and evidence.

Claimed to be calling about a car accident where somebody hit my car 'sometime in the last 2-3 years'. Couldn't give any details - needed me to confirm from my end to comply with data protection. Haven't had an accident, so he got told in no uncertain terms where to insert his phone call.
